We tend to get asked the same questions regarding our pet sitting services over and over again by our clients. That’s why we've compiled them into a list of FAQs below. DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RAW FOOD DIET?
We sure do! In fact our own are feed a raw diet. We are comfortable feeding all kinds of diets.
HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU BOARD AT ONCE?
We only board up to 2 dogs. We like to keep it small so they feel more at home.
DO YOU TAKE THE DOGS TO A DOG PARK?
No! I'm sorry but to many accidents happen at those parks.
HOW MANY TIMES WILL MY DOG BE WALKED?
We will walk your dog at last twice. For the more active breeds up to 4 times daily. Plus a good run around families large fenced in yard.
WHERE WILL MY DOG BE WALKED?
We like to be adventurous! We like hikes, walk along the waters at bay front, or we like to explore our own neighbourhood.
ARE YOUR PET GUEST INSURED?
Yes! We are all about peace of mind, and we are happy to provide that. We are insured with Profur.
DO I HAVE TO FILL OUT ANY LIABILITY OR WAIVER FORM?
Yes. Before any guest is boarded, a waiver must be sign and a copy of up to date vaccinations are required.
WHAT ARE YOUR PICK UP AND DROP OFF TIMES?
Pick ups / drop offs are done from 4pm - 5pm during the week. On weekends drop offs/pick ups can be done from 9am - 3pm. We may be able to accommodate for special request but there are no guaranties.
WHAT HAPPENS IF DOGS DO NOT GET ALONG?
We do are very best at ensuring all dogs coming into our home are friendly and well mannered. In case this does happen, the dogs will be separated and emergency contacts will be notified to pick up said dogs.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We realize that plans do change,and we wish to accommodate all of our customer’s needs, you can cancel any time without penalty with the exception of holidays that require a deposit.Deposits are refundable as long as the cancellation is made 3 days prior to the arrival date.The exception is Christmas break the cancellation must be made 1 week prior to the arrival date.
DO YOU BOARD PUPPIES?
We do, as long as they are over 4 months of age. Since your puppy will be interacting with other dogs, being up to date on vaccinations is important, and 4 months is usually just past the third round of puppy shots. At 4 months, your dog will also be sturdy on his feet and big enough to be able to safely play with other dogs
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY DOGS STAY?
If your dog has stayed with us before, try to book at least a week in advance for non-holiday periods, and at least a month in advance for holidays. During the Christmas period, we are especially busy and our spots fill up a month or two in advance.
Please remember holidays are very busy and we have limited spots available.
DO YOU PROVIDE PICK UP AND DROP OFF SERVICES?
Yes! Just let us know that you would like this service added on to your pups vacation with us. Extra $20 round trip will apply.
WHY DO YOU HAVE SPECIFIC DROP OFF/ PICK UP TIMES?
We try to keep our weekday mornings free so we can schedule our in-home visits, dog walking services, meet & greets, plus pet taxi services for customers that request us to pick up their dogs for boarding. Our pick up time is no later then 5pm as evenings are our time with family.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE CAN’T MAKE IT FOR THE 5PM PICK UP TIME?
We do understand that sometimes things happen. Unfortunately if you are unable to make the set pick up time of 5pm you will need to pay for an extra nights boarding and pick your pup up the next day between 4pm - 5pm.
