We tend to get asked the same questions regarding our pet sitting services over and over again by our clients. That’s why we've compiled them into a list of FAQs below. DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RAW FOOD DIET?
We sure do! In fact our own are feed a raw diet. We are comfortable feeding all kinds of diets.
DO YOU BOARD DOGS FROM DIFFERENT FAMILIES?
We currently board only one family at a time. But there may be a chance of lay over from pick up and drop off day. Though we try our best to avoid this.
DO YOU TAKE THE DOGS TO A DOG PARK?
No! I'm sorry but to many accidents happen at those parks.
HOW MANY TIMES WILL MY DOG BE WALKED?
We will walk your dog at last twice. For the more active breeds up to 4 times daily.
WHERE WILL MY DOG BE WALKED?
We like to be adventurous! We like hikes, walk along the grand, or we like to explore our own neighbourhood.
ARE WE YOU COMFERTABLE WITH GIVING MEDICATION?
Yes! Pill, liquid, creams are no problem. We just don't do injectables.
DO I HAVE TO FILL OUT ANY LIABILITY OR WAIVER FORM?
Yes. Before any guest is boarded, a waiver must be sign and a copy of up to date vaccinations are required.
WHAT ARE YOUR PICK UP AND DROP OFF TIMES?
Were prefer drop offs to be done in the morning, as this gives the dog a chance to acclimate to our home before bedtime. Pick up needs to be done before 6pm. NO ACCEPTIONS. As we put our children to bed at 7pm. If you are unable to make 6pm pick up then you will need to pay for another day.
IF IM PICKING MY DOG UP FIRST THING IN THE MORNING, WILL I BE CHARGED FOR THE FULL DAY?
No. If you plan on picking your pup up before 10am you will not be charged for pick up day. Any pick up after 10am will be charged our day rate of $50/dog
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We realize that plans do change,and we wish to accommodate all of our customer’s needs, you can cancel any time without penalty with the exception of holidays that require a deposit.Deposits are refundable as long as the cancellation is made 3 days prior to the arrival date.The exception is Christmas break the cancellation must be made 1 week prior to the arrival date.
DO YOU BOARD PUPPIES?
We do, as long as they are over 4 months of age. Since your puppy will be interacting with other dogs, being up to date on vaccinations is important, and 4 months is usually just past the third round of puppy shots. At 4 months, your dog will also be sturdy on his feet and big enough to be able to safely play with other dogs
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY DOGS STAY?
If your dog has stayed with us before, try to book at least a week in advance for non-holiday periods, and at least a month in advance for holidays. During the Christmas period, we are especially busy and our spots fill up a month or two in advance.
Please remember holidays are very busy and we have limited spots available.
DO YOU PROVIDE PICK UP AND DROP OFF SERVICES?
Yes! Just let us know that you would like this service added on to your pups vacation with us. Extra $20 round trip will apply.
DO YOU OFFER MULTIPLE DOG DISCOUNT?
No. We charge a flat rate per day. Unlike other boarders that charge extra for walk, playtime, treats, and cuddles. This is all included in our fee.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE CAN’T MAKE IT FOR THE 6PM PICK UP TIME?
We do understand that sometimes things happen. Unfortunately if you are unable to make the set pick up time of 6pm you will need to pick up the next morning.
